We may be located in the stunning Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, but Reach CPA is a virtual firm that employs staff and serves cloud-based accounting to clients situated across BC.
Because we all work remotely, it can be difficult to meet the whole team and get to know them. We thought we would have each team member answer a few questions to give people an idea of who it is on the other side of that email or phone call.
How long have you been working at Reach CPA?
I have been with Reach CPA since September 2018.
What does your role entail?
I am a bookkeeper with various tasks. I record the day-to-day business transactions for some clients, file GST and PST for some clients, run payroll for clients, and I provide support for various bookkeeping questions and problems.
What is your favourite thing about living in the Comox Valley?
I have too many favourite things about the Comox Valley to list just one! I love living near the ocean, I love the forests. I love the farms and markets, the artists, and the culture. It is an amazing place to live!
What do you enjoy most about working at Reach CPA?
I enjoy the people I work with, both co-workers and clients. I also love the flexibility of working remotely, I have been able to take advantage of it and start travelling.
Do you have any hidden talents?
Before I started bookkeeping, I had a small sewing business. I haven’t had the chance to sew much in the past few years, but I am looking forward to getting back into it one day!
